The Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum brings together local, regional, and national leaders who share a vision of making the Lake Tahoe Basin a world-renowned model of clean transportation. Building on the success of past events - the 2023 Nevada Clean Energy & Transportation Conference , the 2023 Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum(LTETF) and 2024 LTETF - we will present rich and innovative content about federal and local grants, other funding opportunities, and successful clean energy programs. We bring in and connect top policy experts, government representatives, and private sector stakeholders who wish to improve the environmental and economic future of the Lake Tahoe basin. There’s an immense amount of work to do to achieve this goal, but there are new grants, tax credits, financing opportunities, technologies, innovations, and many more resources that can amplify the excellent work already undertaken by the clean transportation stakeholders in the area.
This event provides local businesses and municipalities the latest information on electric and other clean transportation technologies, economic opportunities, and green energy programs that will reduce pollution, save money, and promote related sustainable economic development in the region.
Studies show that auto emissions and other air pollutants are a significant threat to the water quality of Lake Tahoe, and to the quality of air we breathe. The expansion of clean transportation infrastructure, such as electric personal vehicles and public transit, will substantially mitigate the pollution that threatens the environment, quality of life, and sustainable economic development of the Lake Tahoe area.
